so in marine bio today we have a midterm that’s worth like a hundred and fifty points, and as an extra credit opportunity we also got the chance to write a poem about how water goes over a fish’s gills for twenty points

and i may not know nine tenths of what’s on the test, but i spent like three hours last night hacking out an entirely silly poem because goddammit i am going to get those twenty bonus points
